WalkWell4Life (“we”, “us”) provides The Wisdom of the Walk explorer and free walking tools (both free), The Clubhouse membership, and courses that run on the FlourishIQ platform. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. WalkWell4Life is part of a family of wellbeing brands created by Dr Alten du Plessis (alongside FlourishIQ, FlourishTalk and InspireWell4Life), and is powered by FlourishIQ. FlourishTalk is the seller and processes card payments, so FlourishTalk is the name on your statement. We process personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, for visitors in the EU and UK, the GDPR.

1. What we collect

• Courses: your account on FlourishIQ, your enrolments, progress, and the reflections and responses you save in the tools.
• Group orders: the names and email addresses the person ordering sends us, to enrol each person or send codes.
• Deck orders: the name to print on the cards, the email we send the deck to, and for a gift the buyer’s email for the receipt. The finished files are kept on our server only for the 30 days the download link works, then deleted.
• Payment information: handled by our payment provider (see below). We do not see or store your full card details.
• Communications: emails and messages you send us, and our replies.
• Limited technical data: a login session and, if you arrive through an affiliate link, a referral code stored in your browser for 30 days. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

2. The Clubhouse

If you are a Clubhouse member we keep your account (name, email, a hashed password) and what you write in it: the cards you save with your reflections, and your change-coach sessions. We keep them only to show them back to you. They are not shown to other members, never sold, and never used for advertising. Your membership record (plan, payments and dates) is kept for billing. Ask us at any time for a copy of everything, or to delete it.

2a. The free explorer and free tools

The Wisdom of the Walk and the free tools work without an account and send nothing to us. Your walking journal (the cards you keep) is stored only in your own browser, on your device; we never see it. Answers you type into a free tool stay on your screen and are not stored.

3. How we use it

Only to give you access to what you bought, to answer your questions, to process payments and send receipts and essential notices, to improve our products and platform, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

4. Courses

Your tool history and reflections in a course are yours. A person or organisation that bought your seat never sees your entries.

5. Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: PayFast (payments, under its own privacy terms), email delivery (receipts and notices), and our website and database host. If you arrived through a referral, we record only that a referred sale occurred, to calculate commission; we do not share your personal details with affiliates. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

6. Payments

Card payments are processed by PayFast for FlourishTalk, the name on your statement. We never see or store your card details.

7. Keeping your information safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords and restricted access. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account or order is active, and after that only as long as needed for legitimate business, legal or tax purposes.

9. Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain processing. Email support@flourishtalk.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use a login session and, where relevant, store an affiliate referral code in your browser for up to 30 days. The explorer stores your walking journal in your browser’s local storage. None of these are used for advertising.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version.
